Thank you KAF for continuing to be such a great company. I love that you see your employees, your community, and your customers as whole people and not just “bakers”. Being out and celebrating LGBTQIA+ identities is about intentionally creating a space for everyone. A straight person probably has never undergone mental gymnastics deciding what to say when asked simple questions like, “how was your weekend?” like on a Monday morning at work. Being able to say something like, “i baked a wonderful cake for my husband’s birthday” is not inconsequential, especially if your coworker maybe thinks part of your identity is irrelevant and should somehow be compartmentalized. So thank you for your thoughtfulness, your kindness, and your great products. This is why I intentionally buy KAF flour.
