The more we live by labels whether they be sexual preference, gender identity, race or any other trending identity topics, we only continue to segregate and create barriers. I grew up to believe in accepting people for their character.

I never see who I am or what I believe treated with pride or even respect. It’s just life. There will always be folks who don’t like or want to discriminate but we can’t control people’s minds.

Just bake and let me love that part of who you are without having to think of you with a label.

As for King Arthur promoting Pride month - you marginalize people by doing this and discriminate by not honoring and having pride in all of us. Sometimes we just want to shop and see a beautiful cake and see the human who did the work without having to think about all that bombards us the rest of the day.

I just wanted to buy some sourdough starter. But you took the fun out of it by being political.
