What your blog article doesn't address, though, is whether the wheat that you'll be sourcing is genetically modified, or heirloom strains. It doesn't address the pesticides or herbicides that could potentially be used in the cultivation process. Nor does it address the processing of the wheat into your products.
I am aware of the pitfalls of the label for "organic". But/and it is extremely important to me that the soils that are being cultivated are also free of the contaminants that also contaminate our food supply. Regenerative is a new buzz word that has yet to be fully identified. Rotating crops and using farming methods that help with the potential bio-diversity in the soils is just the beginning, in my opinion.
Keeping those regenerative soils free of contamination that causes human, animal, soil organisms, and water completely healthy is and should be the goal of all regenerative farming. And I'm aware that it is a big goal.
