Thank you for responding! I looked at the two recipes, but one is a half white flour, half whole wheat flour recipe (I'd prefer to avoid using white flour), and the other requires a mixer (which is the one thing I don't have presently). I guess my question is, is it worth trying method #1 above with the recipe I have, or do you already know it won't work based on what's in it?
