The parchment temperature rating is mostly an extra precaution from the manufacturer.
I use regular Reynolds Parchment from the supermarket. The box clearly states 420 degrees F max.
My range has a max temp of 550 deg F. I heated my oven at the highest setting with a pizza stone inside for one hour
then slid a 10 inch square of parchment with an empty 6.5 inch cast iron skillet on top onto the hot stone and closed the oven. I 'cooked' it for 30 minutes = about twice as long as needed to bake my NY-style thin-crust pizzas. RESULT: The parchment scorched to a non-uniform medium brown - that's it! It did not catch fire!
If it had caught fire, so what? No harm would have been done. The oven heats to over 700F the the self-cleaning mode
