I feel defeated . I had a sourdough mojo and lost it once it started warming up here in the northeast . My dough has become sticky and no matter what I did , it just kept getting stickier after each fold .
I am new to it . I’ve made about 5 successful loaves and the weather changed. I’m not sure if it’s my humid house , or my starter bring over fed / underfed . I put all my tools away after 4 attempted loaves failed with small rises and dense crumb . I’m trying the cold starter with cold water method to hopefully keep the temperature of my dough cooler , maybe ?
