How could a baker run out of butter? Not sure, but I couldn’t make dinner without it. I remembered making it in a jar with my young students many years ago, but I didn’t have the time for all that shaking, and didn’t want to deal with a big cleanup. I used my immersion blender in a tall silicone measuring cup. No splashes and minimal cleanup. It took less than 10 minutes, even with several stops and starts. It seemed that just as I was about to give up the magic happened and it started to separate. Thanks for saving our dinner!
