I totally agree. Once it is a habit, it takes no time or thought. I also compost etc. I have purchased about a dozen or so of bar-type washcloth size towels. Keep them in a basket near the sink. I use them instead of paper towels when I can. I realized I would use a sheet of paper towel to wipe a spill and then toss. Now I use these instead to wash fruit, wipe up small spills etc and then throw in the wash. I only use paper towels for greasy stuff. A roll of paper towel will last 30-60 days in my house. Use cloth napkins too.
