Hi David your grilled chocolate sandwich reminds me of my daughter Shannon’s paternal great grandmother. She was called Mom by everyone. Mom was born and raised in Belgium and married to Pop who was from France. Times were rough sometimes and individual chocolate bars were seldom given to their three children, so Mom would melt one and spread the warmed, meltly chocolate on toasted baguette slices for her three children. They didn't know any better and thought it most delicious. One of these children became my mother-in-law and told me about this charming, delicious way of eating chocolate.
