I would like to make a batch of whole wheat bagels but my Diastatic Malt Powder has an expiration date of 08/07/2019. It has been completely sealed and kept on a kitchen shelf until now. It smells and looks fine but I am hesitant to use it now. Should I not take a chance on using it and toss it out?
