Another easy switch: if you bake at all in the warmer months, bake during the coolest parts of day. First thing in the morning for me. Otherwise your AC ends up working harder just to eliminate all the ambient heat your oven produced!
My dad has long refused to turn the oven on at all during the summers, for this very reason. I used to think he was nuts, but now I get it. Why run two energy hogging appliances directly against each other?
