I like your suggestions. Another way of conserving energy that I like to do is when baking a casserole or my last pan of cookies is to shut the oven off a few minutes before they are done and use the stored up heat to finish the baking. It also keeps the casserole warm if the rest of the meal isn’t quite ready to plate.
