Wrapping bread,in Switzerland, where I grew up, bread is sold in paper bags and in bakeries they use white or unbleached tissue paper to wrap the bread in. the brown bigger paper bags would also work to wrap/store/gift bread.
Personally I buy nice tea towels, sometimes souvenir tea towels from Switzerland especially when gifting Zopf.
