I found silicone covers, which I use with my dough buckets, (since I once forgot my bread rising, the lid exploded off and nearly gave my husband a heart attack). They work great to cover regular bowls to store leftovers in the refrigerator, and multiple other uses. The ones I bought from Amazon had multiple sizes from the size of a coffee cup up to large dough bucket lid size. I don't use plastic wrap for rising dough/storing cookie dough in the refrigerator any more. It isn't ideal, but it is a step in the right direction.
