Thank you. These are all great suggestions --except one. I have tried Bee's Wrap, which I found entirely unsatisfactory. It does not stick properly, it is gucky feeling and foul smelling. It does not clean easily, and it does not last long. Given how expensive it is, it should last longer. I've tried different sizes and different brands, because I was hoping it would work, but I was just throwing out my money. It is no substitute for a plate, much less plastic wrap, which I have not used in years. I use a bucket or a plate. Now I will turn the bowl upside down, too! On another note, I have resisted using organic flour because of the high cost, but after reading some of these posts, I am beginning to reconsider.
