I use those silicone (I think) bowl covers. They come in varied sizes. They create a strong cover on glass or metal bowls. An investment to start with but so many uses.
I have a tendency to look at something and think - how can I reuse? Large plastic trays with snap on tops - I use those to hold cheesecakes in the frig. I can remove from the pan, slice, reposition on serving dish, put it on the tray, snap on the cover. And they are strong enough to put something on top. Wash, dry, store, reuse. Save those takeout containers!
