Hi Laura, tea towels can be tricky, since they're more likely to stick to the surface of the dough as it rises and can allow too much air exposure. Rubbing some flour into the towel might be helpful to prevent sticking. Of course, I know many bakers prefer this solution, so by all means use what works best for you!
