Hi Karen, we're sorry to hear you had difficulty with the ganache, but glad you were able to make it work! We think the liquid/confectioner's sugar amounts are correct, but if you have a scale I would recommend weighing your ingredients, sifting the confectioner's sugar, and then whisking this (along with the spices and salt) into the chocolate mixture gradually.
