I have a scale and tried a new bread recipe yesterday. I'm still a newbie in bread baking and using a scale, but the lesson I learned is to have a fresh battery in the drawer in case the one in your machine dies mid-weighing. The bread was edible, but not great. Will be getting a new battery tomorrow.
