I'd love to add some freeze-dried raspberry powder to your delicious GF Classic Birthday Cake to color it a light pink and was curious how much to add. You would add 1/2 cup to 1 cup for an 8" cake? Is that a typo? Adding 1/2 cup, much less 1 cup, of a powder to just an 8" cake (it doesn't even say a triple-layer 8" cake, so I'm assuming that's a single layer) would totally throw off the proportions. I was thinking of subbing 2 tbsp of the flour with the powder. Or should I add the full amount of flour? Thanks!
