Hi Terry, to bring eggs to room temp more quickly, we recommend placing the whole egg in a bowl of warm water. That should speed things up more quickly than simply cracking an egg into a bowl. That said, there's no reason not to crack your eggs into a bowl before using! In fact, that can be a helpful way to ensure no bits of shell accidentally make it into your batters and doughs.
