I got brave and tried this recipe. I’ve baked breads for decades, but never anything close to this recipe and process. Although the first two loaves were very dark brown once baked, it tasted amazing. The very dark crust was paper thin and the actual bread crust under it was perfect. I lowered the temp on the second pair to 450. They were perfect. The family went crazy over this bread. It went perfectly with the homemade bolognese my sister made. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a more delicious bread. Thank you!
