Love your tips. Two more: I use my bread maker to knead my dough then pull it out of the machine and do the rest in bread pans and oven.
When I peel potatoes I use 2 or 3 different ones all the wider types. By interchanging them throughout the process my hands hurt less than if I had used only one.
