Thank you for thoughtfully addressing this matter. I have found hand-kneading bread dough to sometimes be a challenge for my wrists, especially when making multiple loaves at a time. I now often follow the higher hydration method in Bread in 5 Minutes a Day which bypassed kneading altogether. My "fans" (AKA my grandboys) have not noticed a difference but it makes things much easier for me. Please continue to write about this - which will only apply to more and more people as they age and keep baking:-).
