I just got a 23L Convection Airfryer. It has 4 elements at the top and 2 at the bottom & a fan. It has different settings that makes u choose to use only certain elements, such as only the top 2 elements, or all 4 top elements, or just 2 bottom elements and so on. The reason i’m explaining this is i bought it so i can bake cakes in it as my proper oven is faulty and cannot replace due to current finances. Well my problem is that i baked a cake in it last night & selected the ‘Bake’ setting ( which is only the 2 bottom elements & fan).Btw it has 3 rack positions & i used the centre position. Well…It baked it all the way through BUT the bottom was burnt to almost charcoal(3mm of it). So i’m needing some advice plz. Note that i’ve gone through manual & it doesn’t mention rack heights anywhere & no advice on baking cakes either. I’ve googled & read so many blogs & recipes etc & can’t find a solution. Can you plzz help me?? TIA
