I had NO idea you could use dry yeast to aid your starter. My starter took 31/2 weeks to get to the right consistency. That is very disappointing and it caused my lack of confidence since I’ve toss 2 loafs that look beautiful on the outside but inside like a rubber ball. I’m sure I’m doing other things wrong also. Now I have a new desire. Thanks
