Allow me to suggest Platinum Superior Baking Yeast made by Red Star. This product has "instant sourdough starter" in it. So instead of being a standard .25 oz yeast package these weigh .63 oz. Available locally at Winco.

Just a thought, once we retired it seemed absurd to hire a pet sitter to come in to feed my starter.
