I found this article just as I was finishing prep to bake your Pumpkin Pie recipe. Out of curiosity, I looked into my online KAF recipe box and found that I have over thirty recipes in my carefully curated collection. Of that, nearly thirty are recipes that I have baked multiple times and are my go-to for the category. I love that the recipes are so well written, come with pictures of what the prep stages should look like, and have metric weights listed for all the ingredients. Recipes that are blogged, or have linked blogs, I find especially helpful. I also love that you give lots of background about the creation and introduction of a recipe and don't stop at a picture and a formula. There are two or three new additions in my box for me to consider. (Cinnamon Conchas are in my future.) I always check KAF first for recipes when I get the urge to bake something new. I appreciate that you are adding recipes from other cultures. And, perhaps, best of all, I love that I can call or email with a question when I'm not sure how to proceed. Thank you for helping me grow as a home baker, and best wishes for another 25 years (at least!) of your wonderful website.
