My favorite -- and easiest!-- tart crust is adapted from a French recipe where the butter and water along with vegetable oil, salt and sugar are combined in a large Pyrex bowl and placed in a 410 degree oven for 15 minutes or till butter is bubbling and starting to brown. Bowl is removed and flour is carefully added and stirred till mixture comes together. When it's cool enough to handle, you just press it into tart pan. Delicious crust that works every time!
