Interesting blog. I grew up making roll up cakes, and realized that many of the things you recommend are things I learned as a child. I used to make a chocolate roll up with whipped cream fairly often because it was a quick easy desert and everyone loved it. I didn’t really learn about Yule logs until I was in my teens, and it was a easy transition to make a Yule log. I haven’t made one for the last few years, but you have inspired me to make one this holiday season. Your blogs are always so interesting regardless of if it is a new baking project or an old favorite!
