Hi Judy, we apologize for the chaos! The size of the initial rectangle can vary, of course, but for the example pictured here I would say she started with one of parchment half-sheets (16 1/2" X 12 1/4") and then folded over one corner to make a triangle that is approximately 12 1/4" X 12 1/4" X 16 3/4" (at the base of the triangle). You've actually folded over a square here, so you'll need to cut that in half to get your triangle.
