Hi Victoria! Room temperature is very advantageous for both your schedule and your starter's fermentation. Ideally, you will be feeding your starter every 12 hours and keeping in between 70-80 degrees. Try keeping it in your oven with the oven light on. While you will want to check on it after 30 minutes or so, most oven lights produce an environment in this temperature range that is ideal for your starter's fermentation. Happy baking!
