Hello! Thanks for the clear instructions, I appreciate it. Currently I am trying to get my starter to be more active, so am following the "feed every 8-10 hours" schedule. How important is room temperature in this process? I'm getting the starter to expand by maybe 2/3 rather than double, and my house is cold (winter, I'm sure that you understand...). My refrigerators are built-in, so no way to set the container on top for some continued warmth. Since today is Sunday, I will put it in the oven with a bowl of boiling water and *try* to remember to change the water every hour or two. Any other suggestions?
