Thank you so much for replying. I'll see if I can try the metal bowl idea, and steaming. I think I'm stuck with this oven ( I do plan on moving) for now. I'm glad to hear you say to heat oven good 30 minutes, as I started doing that recently to ensure the oven was as hot as it could get. I look forward to trying to steam also! I'm excited to learn more as I begin to bake bread again! Your reply was an encouragement and motivation for me- thank you!
