I like the frying pan method, for speed and ease. Toasting nuts really do make a difference.
Question: If I toast more nuts than what the recipe calls for, will the extra nuts' toastiness keep in a sealed container for future use? Or does the toastliness fade? I'm thinking of toasting an entire bag so that pre-toasted nuts will be at the ready when I am ready to bake.
