When I was a very your girl my Grandmother made "galletas de elote" translates to corn cookies; except that they did not contain corn but corn masa. I've never come across anyone who knows how to make these cookies and unfortunately my Grandmother did not write down her recipes - they were all in her head, just all the great cooks. I am excited to try this recipe and hopeful that they will taste just like my Grandma's galletas de elote.
