It seems like from this article (and many of the comments) that there are many ways to make great pizza. After experimenting for many years I now convection bake mine at 450 for 22 minutes, after building the pizza in a cast iron pan (I do not preheat). The pizza always comes out perfectly cooked with a crisp bit chewy crust. My family refuse to order/eat pizza from a restaurant now because they say it can’t compare to homemade.
