I am relatively new to pizza making (bought my first pizza stone last year, and it has worked well), and I found this article to be really interesting and informative ... but I have to say, the first photo used with it is EXTREMELY unappetizing -- it looks like a burned mess that I would throw out immediately. (It doesn't look nicely charred to me -- it looks completely BURNED on the entire right half of it.) Was that picture meant to show something tasty or a bad mistake? (My first thought was the latter, but I'm wondering if there are people who really like burnt pizza!)

In any case, thanks for the great info. :)
