We bought a 17” cast iron frying pan from lodge. Preheat out oven to 550 degrees with the pan in the oven. Put the pan on top of the stove, transfer the rolled dough to the pan and make the rest of the pie on the dough. Works like a charm.
If you use this meathod invest in good oven mitts.
