Hi ya'll,
I came to this post and unfortunately was not surprised at some of the comments. I am what some people call a "expatriate", a US citizen who lives in another country. I do not have access to KA products unless I make a trip back home to NC. I LOVE KA because of the quality of humans that they are. Last year KA had a series of Videos with Jeffrey Hamelman and (an extraordinary pastry chef, sorry I don't remember her name). They did not have to do that. It was an effort to bring joy to the community through Zoom. It prompted me to share my love of baking with friends and relatives here in Colombia. I started out with 2 participants and it grew to 25. Not everyone participated but I was able to spread the love (unfortunately I gained weight doing it).
The KA people who respond to the comments are a shining example of what community is all about. I can not say enough about this whole idea. If there anything I can do to help, I would be glad to.
