I’m so proud to use King Arthur flours in all of my baking and even more proud today after seeing this article. Thank you KA for your efforts in inclusivity around our collective baker’s bench!
It’s not shocking at all to see the push back from folks who don’t quite understand that inclusion isn’t a political matter but it’s sad nonetheless. In all honesty, it’s pitiful that things like kindness, inclusivity, respect, and tolerance have been weaponized as political attributes that are not associated with one of America’s political parties. Not to mention that Americans who are reading this article and getting miffed about it seem to think that citizens of only one country buy flour from King Arthur.
*Sigh*
I’ll end with this: I mixed a wonderful sourdough this morning consisting of three different KA flours and two other ancient grain flours from my local mill here in Maine. I use KA’s Sir Lancelot and KA’s Special Patent as the base for all of my sourdoughs.
I wish we could post pictures of our beauties here to show the amazing results we get using KA’s flours! It’s the most bullet proof flour on the market. I know this because I’ve tried them all over my 35+ years of baking bread.
