I generally feed my starter once a day in the winter, but twice a day in the summer. I live in a cold house, temp in the kitchen in particular is about 50-60, or at nighttime with the wind blowing less then that. The back of the pellet stove can maintain about 60 degrees, so it often lives there in the winter. Would you still feed twice a day when it is that cold? I usually feed when it starts to not expand anymore but go slightly down.
