Thank you for the gift of this recipe! We loved the KA Buttery Sourdough Sandwich Biscuits but there's a whole stick of butter involved. Sadly, that recipe was a top contributor to pandemic pudge and is now a rare treat. This one however looks like it would be just as tasty, and perhaps slightly gentler to the waistline. If it sports a health halo from whole grain(s) so much the better : )
Any thoughts about swapping a whole grain flour, or a percentage of whole grain flour, for the AP in these? Usually a quarter of the AP flour can be safely swapped out. Curious to see if anyone has tried these with either that amount or more, and which grain(s) they used. Would a little more liquid be advisable?
