I just made a cake and the batter curdled. It happens a lot to me when I make cakes with butter. This cake had 5 eggs. It did not break with the adding of the eggs. It broke when I added the wet ingredients with the flour. I was very careful to alternate ingredients. It always happens to me at this stage. So frustrating.
