Hi Pam. We are sorry to hear that you struggled with this recipe. If this dough is coming out dry and heavy, or if your dough seems very stiff to work with, it may be related to the way that you are measuring your flour. We've found that scooping flour directly from a bag or container packs too much flour in the cup.
