Reading this blog has been a lesson. Thank you very much. I love good sourdough and can't seem to find it locally, and shipping would cost the proverbial amputation. But, wow! 9 months and you're just a beginner? Babysit the starter every 12 hrs for 7 days before it's ready? Now I understand.
