Hi, I am new to sourdough starter and making bread. I'm also new to using a scale to measure ingredients. I have the starter, which seems to be in good shape. I feed it once a week before I make bread. My confusion is with different recipes I have been using. Three different recipes all use 1/2 cup starter however the grams differ. One recipe asks for 1/2 cup starter or 120 grams, another recipe asks for 1/2 cup starter or 113 grams and yet another recipe is different yet. Do the grams depend on the rest of the ingredients in the recipe and the "1/2 cup" really isn't significant? Just weigh according to each recipe?
