Hi Andy, I wouldn't recommend freezing this particular pie filling because the fresh berries are going to change significantly in the freezer and release more moisture as they thaw, so you won't get the same consistency or fresh flavor that you'll get with a freshly made filling. Alternatively, you could cook the first part of the recipe and freeze that, and then reheat briefly and add fresh berries when you're ready to assemble your pie. This won't be quite the same, but will still incorporate the taste and firmness of the fresh berries.
