Have you tried making biscuit dough, cutting out the biscuits and freezing them separately on a cookie sheet? Then bag them & keep frozen. When you want a hot biscuit or two, preheat your oven and bake the biscuits as you normally would. Be sure to bake without thawing. The time and baking temperature are close to the same as you would normally use.
