I use a Brown and Serve Rolls recipe from the 60’s. After the first rise it rests for 15 minutes. Then the rolls are shaped and placed on the baking pan as usual. Then ( here is the difference) the oven is preheated to 275 F only. The rolls are baked for 40 minutes then removed from the oven then cooled. When cold wrap securely and freeze OR keep in the fridge until baking them. Then Bake at 450F for about 7 minutes. Hope this helps.
